Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the call for submissions for our upcoming PhD Conference, to be held at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” on September 2^nd and 3^rd, 2024. This year's conference will focus on addressing and framing the socioeconomic and climate challenges that we, as scholars and academics, face. Our second PhD conference aims to foster a space for dialogue among PhD students, complemented by sessions with our keynote speaker and discussants.

This year, the conference will feature a total of 6 tracks:                                                                                                       

(1) Sustainable Finance: ESG, Climate, and Transition risks                                                                                                   

(2) Fostering Development in light of  Economic Inequalities                                                                                                        

(3) Social Inequalities: diversity and inclusion for a resilient society                                                                                                          

(4) Computational Social Sciences                                                                                                        

(5) Territorial Disparities: Inner and Outer, Urban and Rural                                                                                                         

(6) Intersectional and Intergenerational Inequalities

To participate, we invite you to compile the following  Google Form, and to submit a paper or an abstract - the latter, no longer than 2 A4 Word pages in Times New Roman, 11 or equivalent. This year we offer the chance to 1st year PhD and master’s student to present, on the same tracks above, a poster. It is for us the opportunity to create a space for everyone, in earlier or later stage of research, to discuss and talks with their own peers about their own works.

- 30 July 2024 Notification of Acceptance
-  20 August 2024 Provisional Program of the Conference

You can consult our website to remain updated about the progresses of the conference, the keynote speakers and the activities, please follow our website. No fees are due to participate in the conference, but we cannot provide any accommodation or reimbursement.
